Code of Conduct

• Usage of Mobiles is strictly prohibited in College Campus

• Students are instructed to be in College Uniform within Campus.

• Students must follow the college timings strictly.

• Attendance must be maintained according to the JNTU Norms.

• Completion of Assignments in time, is a part and parcel of academics.

• Students must actively take part in the personality development programmes.

• Spending time in the central library is must for every student at least for half an

hour a day.

1. The Management visualizes JNIT as on adobe of 5Es, meaning that it is a temple like institution for imparting 5Es viz.

Education →Enlightenment → Employment → Entrepreneurship→ Empowerment, so that "the student leaves the college not only with a Degree in Distinction but also with a job in Hand" .

2. Students of JNIT-the JNITians should display exemplary conduct and character, not only within the campus but also outside.

3. The students must be regular to their classes and should maintain the highest

percent-age of attendance at all times. They have to conduct themselves with dignity and decorum, befitting to their professional status.

4. Engineering subjects are full of definitions and derivations. Students should not

digest any definition, until they get convinced of the logic behind and shouldn't accept any equation, unless it is derived from the basics.

5. Mind you all my dear students! 100% attendance in the classes, even without any preparation will let you pass. One hour preparation every day in addition to 100% attendance will fetch a First Class. Two hours preparation a day in addition to 100% attendance - A Distinction. Three hours in addition to 100% attendance - University Topper ship.

6. When 100% is a possibility and is within reach of every student, why should any one compromise with lower denominations either in attendance or results.

7. All JNITians should remember the great quotation by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru which reads "Aiming/Dreaming at Something Big Makes You Big". So aim/dream for great things in life.

8. The college will guarantee a job through campus placement to every student who secures a distinction.

9. Tama soma Jyothirgamaya-Teachers and other administrative staff of the college are involved in this noble task. Students should respect them.

10.The students should feel a sense of belonging with the college and protect the

furniture, computers, equipment, books, etc. And make good use of all facilities made available to them.

11. The students of JNIT should never disturb the peace, serenity and academic life of the campus under any circumstances.

12. The students should keep college premises and buildings neat and clean. Writing of any nature or sticking of posters and notices on the walls is strictly prohibited.

13. Students should not bring outside elements into the campus which may cause law and orde4 problems and such cases will be severely dealt with.

14. Eve-teasing, smoking, carrying of cell phones, blowing horn, whistling of any kind are strictly prohibited within the college premises.

15. Ragging is an evil and deadly menace. Ragging in any form to any extent is strictly prohibited within or outside the college. This attracts serious punishment and entails summary dismissal from the college also. Their misbehaviour will also be noted in the conduct certificate issued at the time of leaving the college.
