Alumni Association :
For us at JNIT, the true worth of its activities, in the long run, is the success of its alumni. This association targets JNIT alumni across the globe provide news, articles and events information. You would agree that besides fulfilling the emotional need of alumni to stay in touch with it's alma mater, this association can be a nice platform to interact with friends, batch mates, faculty, students etc.
Role of an "Alumni Association":
• A strong bondage & long term relationship between the College & the Alumni.
•Platform available to alumni to meet and communicate with their old friends / batch mates.
• Opportunity available to alumni to revisit the Alma Mater.
• Mentoring Role for the juniors of the college (ongoing batches).
•Symbiotic relationship between the alumni, the college and the companies where the alumni are working, which is beneficial to all.
•A platform for industry-college interaction (industry where alumnus is working). Institute will be open to the suggestions/ feedback from the industry in the areas of course- curriculum, which can be helpful to the industry.
• Scope to get academic services from the College to the companies (where the alumnus is working), as and when required, like Consultancy etc. The Events/Activities that can be planned now and later on, as we grow:
• Alumni get-together events.
• Scope to Alumni to contribute their services as Guest Lecture/ as visiting faculty
(based on the seniority of alumni, subject to the need generated & the availability of alumni). ...etc.
